(01) About
Hi, I’m Vedang, currently pursuing an undergrad in Mathematics and Computing at MIT Manipal.
My work so far has spanned machine unlearning, concept erasure, graph neural networks, reinforcement learning, and generative models. I enjoy exploring different areas, experimenting with ideas.
Outside research, I spend a fair amount of time playing chess, scrolling through X, watching F1, and inevitably getting distracted by something interesting.

AI Research Intern
IIT Guwahati
- Built a graph neural network to detect coordinated attacks in 8M+ real IoT packets, then stress-tested it with synthetic attacks and an AI red-team agent.

- First-authored SPACE (Style Preserving Attribute Constrained Erasure): a method that removes a target concept from Stable Diffusion v1.4 without damaging the rest of the image. Saliency-selected LoRA on cross-attention layers, a dual-anchor teacher and four-view prompts separate concept from style — 12% better FID than UCE, 27% stronger erasure.
